Our tissue culture lab project in Dehradun aims not only to provide high-quality planting materials but also to foster sustainable agricultural practices in hilly regions. By producing 10 lakh ornamental plants and 5 lakh banana plants in FY 2024-25, we are committed to empowering marginal farmers by offering these plants at subsidized rates, with the support of the government and various agencies. This initiative will not only enhance local agricultural productivity but also promote self-reliance in the country’s agriculture sector.

Moreover, the project will create much-needed employment opportunities for the unemployed youth in rural areas. By providing them with skill development and job opportunities in the tissue culture lab, we are helping to prevent rural-urban migration, ensuring that these villages remain vibrant and inhabited. The availability of quality raw materials from our lab will also support various industries, including the pharmaceutical sector, reducing dependence on foreign imports and helping to preserve valuable foreign exchange. This initiative will play a key role in building a more self-sufficient and resilient rural economy while contributing to the growth of modern industries in India.
